Shenandoah Book Arts is central Maryland's newest conservation and bookbinding studio, providing services for libraries, archives, institutions, and private collectors throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.  We offer a full range of book and paper conservation treatments as well as collection surveys, conservation framing, and protective enclosures.  Our expertise extends to rare books and manuscripts, maps, prints, vellum and leather bindings, scrapbooks, and photo albums.  We also offer custom fine hand bookbinding including limited editions, fine bindings, and archival hand bound photo albums.  We adhere to the American Institute for Conservation's guidelines for ethical conservation of book and paper artifacts.
